Will AI change the way we see ourselves as humans?

The field of AI and robotics raises new and profound questions about human identity. In May 2017 I took part in an event at the faith and society thinktank Theos on how the way we see ourselves is itself being transformed by advances in AI and robotic technology.  Also speaking was Dr Beth Singler, who worked with me as Research Associate at the Faraday Institute of Science and Religion investigating human identity in an age of nearly-human machines.
